Gate

Gate is a noise-gate processor with range control. It features sidechain capability with an internal sidechain filter that includes variable low cut and high cut, as well as a MIDI trigger. Gating removes unwanted sounds by silencing signals that fall below a set threshold; the gate will remain open as long as the signal is above the threshold. Use Gate to eliminate unwanted noise or low levels in any track or to creatively control the level of a given track using another track via sidechain.
